All grand theft auto game

Its smart gameplay combined with vibrant graphics keeps the game enjoyable. Grand Theft Auto Advance is an enjoyable top-down perspective game, worthy of its place on this list. Its negative reviews on the PlayStation 2 can be attributed to its upscaling which didn't turn out well. Also, multiplayer modes were removed, which makes the PSP version stronger.

Still, if you can manage to get your hands on a PlayStation 2 or PSP, the game can be bought at a bargain, and you can experience the gaudiness of Vice City once again. A game about stealing cars couldn't be something your mother would buy for you. The game that started it all had clunky controls which made driving near impossible, but it had charm regardless.

The ability to get into any car made Grand Theft Auto a hit. Driving recklessly through intersections and colliding into other vehicles provided an exhilarating experience unlike anything out there. This top-down perspective game laid the foundation for what would later become one of the best-selling video game franchises of all time.

People love Grand Theft Auto 2 for its improvements to police chases, weapons, driving, locations, and camera. No longer was a shaky camera getting in the way of rasing mayhem in Anywhere City. The cars have gained speed and the police force is more relentless than ever before. The action in this game is genuinely exciting, and it's more than a game about driving cars. This is one classic game you can't miss. Chinatown Wars is played from the top-down perspective, providing an experience reminiscent of the first two Grand Theft Autos— but more profound.

Though it was made exclusively for handheld devices, it can now be even played on a cell phone, which is an incredible feat considering how expansive the game is. It also features fun mini-games not found in the proper games in the series, such as actually having to hot-wire a car before players can drive it. Vice City is best known for the introduction of zany cheats, such as turning a vehicle into a flying car, which became a classic staple of GTA games. It also added tons of new vehicles like planes, motorcycles, and helicopters.

After the release of Vice City , Rockstar plunged even further into satire and social commentary, and San Andreas is the best example of exactly that. The contrast between the gangbangers and the Mulholland Dr. But on top of that, there were some major RPG and customization elements added to the game, including buying property, getting haircuts, and working out, not to mention that San Andreas has the best GTA map.

Though GTA III is certainly not better than the ones that came after it, it has such a high score because it was the very first of its kind. Not only that, but GTA V marked the first time that the whole world was free to explore from the very beginning, as every other entry in the series had sectors of the map blocked off until players progressed through the game. And even though the game is almost eight years old by this point and fans have moved on to the online mode, the world is so big that people are still finding new things to do in story mode.

This meant no cutscenes, no voice actors, not even a radio. How boring it was just doing simple missions. It followed the events of GTA Advance and picked up with a character we later know to be Claude and his girlfriend Catalina.

The couple is robbing a bank, and he is double-crossed by his girlfriend and left for dead. The game is essentially a revenge mission for Claude. This game, however, is pretty cool because it introduced GTA fans to the over-the-shoulder perspective of gameplay. The top-down perspective was fun for a moment but, the new angle enlightened fans in a whole new way. In addition to free reign over the city, fans were introduced to new territory and gangs to play around with. Introducing the sword was a cool concept, but barely having any kind of time with it was annoying.

The main character is Johnny who, along with the others in his biker gang, are being pressured to grow up. The gang is known for petty crimes and spending most of their time at a bar that doubles as their clubhouse. This game has been compared to Robinhood.

There is a lot of violence and refusal to see things for what they are. Johnny is the one who has to hold things together, even when the leader of the club makes drugged-induced decisions.

Rockstar wanted to focus on releasing a game that was its own entity. We are not explicitly told what year it is. Some early 3D graphics were used, and Rockstar did not specify a city name. The crazy thing is, GTA refuses to confirm or deny if it is the same Claude in both. There was even a movie based on the game with Claude as the protagonist. This is the ninth game in the franchise.

Released in , the game was set in The main character is Toni Cipriani, an enforcer type who works for the mafia. Toni recently came out of four years of hiding for killing a made man. He's now back at the bottom of the ranks and working for the man who replaced him when he disappeared. The gameplay was great and the familiar characters were ones that you either loved or hated. This version of Liberty City features a new area to explore, new gangs, and you can now take a ferry to get across town instead of driving the wrong way on the highway for hours.

CJ returns home to what looks to be a Compton-like neighborhood.
