Drivers were automatically installed when I connected the joystick, and it shows up in the Devices and Printers section of the Windows Control panel. Using the SideWinder Precision 2 Joystick Properties, I can test the buttons and axes to see if they are working, and it's working fully.
The only thing a bit disappointing is that I can't find any software download for the Sidewinder Precision 2 joystick to enable me to use macros and to program the controls on the joystick to work as I want them to.
